The one white wine, the 2010 Elverite Albarin, an indigenous grape variety (unrelated to Albarino). This medium bodied wine gives up a fragrant perfume of mineral, melon, and baking spices leading to a round, savory, dry white meant for drinking over the next 3-4 years. It is an excellent value.
This is an impressive set of new releases from Villacezan, located in the newly created DO of Tierra de Leon directly north of Toro at a higher elevation.
