The 2019 Cornas is tannic, but it appears to have the fruit to push through this astringent phase. Crushed stone, plum and cassis appear on the nose of this full-bodied, richly textural offering. Try it in a couple of years.

Equal in quality to this vintage's Saint Joseph, Vidal Fleury's 2018 Cornas is reasonably rich and concentrated, with ripe plummy fruit accented by hints of crushed stone. It's full-bodied and rounded on the palate, with ample length and dusty tannins on the finish.

Easily the finest vintage for this cuvee, the 2015 Cornas sports a deep purple color, as well as a sensational nose of black and blue fruits, liquid violets and crushed rocks. Possessing full-bodied richness, undeniable minerality, ripe tannin and a great finish, drink it anytime over the coming decade.

Showing better from bottle than barrel, the 2014 Cornas is a medium to full-bodied, classic wine that offers impress notes of black raspberries, cassis, spicy oak and spring flowers. It's not a blockbuster, but has rock-solid balance and should evolve gracefully for 6-7 years.
