The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon (100%) went through malolactic in French oak followed by 10-15 months of aging in barrel. Aromas of herbs, olives, balsamic, and cassis lead to a structured, well-balanced wine. In the glass plenty of spicy red fruits emerge revealing a wine with good volume, excellent intensity, and a medium-long finish. Drink this very good value over the next 5 years.
The Vega Sindoa label, produced by Bodegas Nekeas in Navarra entirely from estate-grown fruit, has long been known for value.
