The 2013 Gewürztraminer "Treleaven" is dry (only two grams per liter of residual sugar) and comes in at 13.9% alcohol. This is a very respectable dry Gewürz at a nice price. It has a moderately bitter finish laced with lychee, typical of the style when they are very dry. Balanced, focused and rather enticing, this doesn't have a lot of body--its main limitation. That becomes more obvious as it warms, but it does get the concept of dry Gewürztraminer just right. It is graceful and tasty. Drink it on the younger side for best results. There were just 198 cases produced.
