Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2010 Terra Barossa Shiraz is intensely scented of crushed mint and black cherries with an undercurrent of cassis, cinnamon stick and blueberry preserves. Very full bodied and richly fruited in the mouth, it is well structured with a medium level of grainy tannins and crisp acidity, finishing long with lingering minty notes. Drink it now to 2015. The 2008 Terra Barossa Shiraz is opaque purple-colored. Aromas of pencil lead, pepper, violets, blackberry, and blueberry lead to a medium to full-bodied Shiraz with excellent depth and concentration, layered flavors, and a pure finish. It is an outstanding value for drinking over the next 5-7 years. Thorn-Clarke is a fine source for values from Australia.
