The 2008 Unpenned is a blend of 50% Grenache, 45% Shiraz, and 5% Viognier aged in seasoned French and American oak for 10 months. Medium ruby in color, it offers up a nose of earth notes, spice box, and cherry. Smooth, ripe, easy-going, and uncomplicated, it will offer pleasant drinking over the next 2-3 years.
