The 2007 Chardonnay is whole-bunch pressed, wild fermented with 11 months in two-year old puncheons. This has an attractive nose, citrus fruits with a slight nutty quality developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied, quite buttery on the entry, moderate acidity, tropical fruits such as mango, nectarine and passion fruit. It could do with a little more reserve and minerality towards the finish. Not bad, quite powerful and long in the mouth. Just 96 cases produced.
