A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot, 10% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, the Tenuta Sette Cieli 2020 Bolgheri Noi 4 is soft and generous with dark fruit, sweet cherry and spice. There are background tones of tilled earth and tobacco. With 18,000 bottles made, this easy-to-find Tuscan red pairs with meat, pasta or whatever. Drink it while the fruit is still young and fresh.

The 2017 Bolgheri Noi 4 is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon with smaller percentages of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot from a hot vintage. The wine is generous and bold with pressed blackberry, black cherry, spice, tobacco, tar and tilled earth. You get a lot of soft and rich intensity out of this generous red that would pair with a Tuscan peposo, or red wine stew. Some 12,000 bottles were made.

The 2015 Bolgheri Noi 4 is a steady wine, with notes of blackberry and some tangy spice. It's a bit thin in the mouth, with some sourness, but still a nice effort. There is a touch of dark cherry ripeness in the mouth that gives this wine a heavy center of gravity. The blend is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot (aged in barrique for 15 months). Some 10,000 bottles were made.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, the 2013 Bolgheri Noi 4 opens to a dark color and shows little light penetration. The wine is redolent of Cabernet Sauvignon aromas that recall freshly milled white pepper, dark fruit, black olive and exotic spice. The wine is steady and tight and nothing is out of place. This is a fun and easy-drinking wine to pair with beef or lamb.
