Very good intensity, with fruity notes dominating (ripe blackcurrant, cranberry), followed by some empyreumatic notes (toasted wood), refreshed by a hint of eucalyptus. The nose keeps evolving with some meaty nuances (fresh meat) and more fruit with a combined sensation of fresh and cooked fruit.

A charming, maturing cabernet with typical Bendigo depth of fruit and structure, but assembled with a rustic Old world approach. It’s earthly and leathery, with smoky bonfire-lie aromas of cedar, black and red berries, dark plums and hints of cigar box. Long and finely balanced, with a graphite-like spine beneath its dark plum, blackberry and cassis-like fruit, it finishes with suppleness and smoky, cedary nuances.
