I tasted three Pinot Noirs from Sojourn. The 2014 Pinot Noir Wohler Vineyard comes from a vineyard in the heart of the Russian River planted with Dijon clones 667, 115, 828, and of course, the W?denswil clone, which in California is called 2A. Lovely black and red currant fruit, some cherries, delicate spice box and earth are all present in this medium ruby-colored wine, which cuts a broad swath across the palate. The acidity is present, the tannins ripe, and the wine generous, round and juicy. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
