The 2004 GSM is composed of 50% Grenache, 40% Shiraz, and 10% Mourvedre. It offers a spicy perfume of cassis, black cherry, blueberry, and blackberry leading to a rich, plush wine with layers of fruit and complex flavors. Nicely balanced with well-concealed tannins, it will evolve for several years although it can be enjoyed now. It is also an outstanding value. Small Gully Wines is a partnership between winemaker Stephen Black and vineyard owner Robert Bader.Importer: Ronnie Sanders, Vine Street Importers, Philadelphia, PA; tel.
