The 2008 Merlot “Secret Reserve - Sod”is charmingly crafted, bright, elegant and pleasing, without a lot of mid-palate concentration. Delightful for the short haul, it will probably not improve a whole lot in the cellar. Drink now-2016. Although Shiloh is normally imported by Royal Wine, a Kosher specialist, note that these wines will not be as they are all from 2008 – a Shmitta year.
