The 2017 Grauburgunder RS opens pure, fresh and reductive on the nose with underripe, crispy pear aromas and a fine lemon note. Intense and juicy on the palate, this is a quite intense but just-ripe Pinot Blanc with a fresh if not slightly greenish expression. Lean and tight on the palate, this is a linear, fresh Pinot Blanc for Vikings. Tasted in May 2020.

The 2014 Grauburgunder RS has a clear, ripe and aromatic bouquet with some flinty aromas. Round and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied and very fruity Pinot with a refreshing and nicely gripping finish. Good tension and purity, but still fruit-driven.
