The opaque purple-colored 2005 Dry Land Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 24 months in 50% new French oak. The expressive nose reveals cedar, tobacco, red currants, and a hint of eucalyptus/mint that jumps from the glass. On the palate it exhibits a lean, racy personality with a tannic firmness and enough fruit to evolve for two years. It will provide fine drinking from 2010 to 2018.
