Regis Minet's chiseled, handsome, movie-star looks are further complemented by his ever-present smile and free spirit. Reminiscent of James Dean, yet with a positive outlook on life, Minet produces wine in order to fund his real love - traveling, working on his antique car, and riding motorcycles throughout the western United States.This wine (produced from 15 to 18 year old vines and vinified in stainless-steel tanks) has lemon drops and tangy citrus notes on the nose and a racy, smoky, medium-bodied, mineral, spice, and citrus zest-packed personality. This tank-fermented, tasty, mineral-laden Pouilly Fume possesses excellent lush fruit, medium body, good underlying acidity, a touch of herbs and figs in its citrusy flavors, and a crisp, dry finish.
