This is the first vintage from vineyards the Pfaffl family bought in the northern suburbs of Vienna. Aged in wood, it is smooth, still young, with some good earthy characters along with round, red cherry flavors. There’s a dollop of spice to help it along.——R.V.(10/1/2007)—— 90
