Deep garnet in color with a touch of brick in the rim, the 2007 8 Songs Shiraz offers pronounced evolved fruit notes of stewed plums, rhubarb compote, figs and warm mulberries with nuances of baking spices and cigar box. Medium to full bodied with a good amount of mature fruit, it is solidly structured with very crisp acid and a medium to firm level of chewy tannins. It goes a little savory in the long finish. Drink it now to 2016+. Importer: The Hess Collection New World Wines, Napa, CA
