The 2010 Riesling was sourced from the excellent Hyland Vineyard. It was fermented and raised in stainless steel and finished dry. The aromatics reveal lots of spicy minerals, floral notes, and citrus. This leads to a crisp, savory, refreshing palate that awakens the senses. It is likely to evolve and drink well for up to a decade. Veteran vigneron Lynn Penner-Ash had just celebrated a milestone birthday prior to my visit and, like her wines, she appeared to be evolving gracefully.
