The 2009 Joven Roble is 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) aged in French and American oak for 5 months. It offers up a pleasing perfume of cherry, cranberry, and rose petal setting the stage for a forward, easy-going sweetly-fruited wine meant for drinking over the next 3-4 years. It is an excellent value.
Pagos de Negredo is located in the newly created DO of Arlanza which encompasses parts of the provinces of Burgos, Palencia, and Castilla y Leon. There are currently 9 wineries located in Burgos and 2 in Palencia.
