Enticingly aromatic, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Yakima Valley offers a dark red-fruited core with subtle herbal undertones and hints of dusty oak. Medium to full-bodied, the Cabernet offers a lighter frame with elements of sage, dark cherry and red plum before subtle notions of cedar and juicy tobacco wade across the mid-palate with fine-grained tannins. The wine concludes with a clean and tannic finish. Just under 10,000 bottles were made after the wine rested for a year and a half in French oak barrels, 15% new. This delightful wine will remain food-friendly for the next 5 years.
