The 2006 Michele is a blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, and the balance Petit Verdot. Firmer on the palate than the Camille with a bit more structure and grip, this spicy, balanced offering will drink nicely for another 7-8 years. Very ripe flavors of berries and figs dominate this Cab-centric Bordeaux blend, along with intriguing side notes suggesting melon and cassis, smoke and mocha.
