The 2006 Dauphine is 100% Syrah. The nose exhibits aromas of smoke, game, Asian spices, incense, and blueberry leading to a medium to full-bodied wine with ample savory blue fruits, good volume, and a medium-long finish. Although it may well evolve for 1-2 years, it can be enjoyed now.
