Sporting a thick frame and a robust constitution, the 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Paolus delivers ripe fruit tones with soft aromas of blackberry preserves and cherry liqueur. To my palate, the warm 2012 vintage is better suited for near and medium-term drinking, and that's exactly what I suggest for this Brunello Riserva. Only 2,600 bottles were produced.
