This is a sub-brand of Masciarelli that pays homage to the winery's visionary founder, Gianni Masciarelli, and once again, his fedora hat appears on the bottle label. The Masciarelli 2018 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Gianni Masciarelli is a pure and fresh expression with aromas of pear, stone fruit and Golden Delicious apple. The wine is lean in mouthfeel, but the finish is impressively long and silky. This is a Trebbiano you could happily serve alongside steamed clams with garlic.
