Composed of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Syrah, the 2009 Vin de Pays du Gard Les Vignes de Mon Pere spent 12 months in small oak casks. Its Bordeaux-like personality reveals notes of tobacco leaf, cedarwood, black currants, earth and spice. This medium to full-bodied, complex 2009 should drink well for 4-5 years.
