The famous Beaune-based firm of Louis Latour can do as good a job as anybody with white Burgundy as this gloriously fruity, even sumptuous Macon can attest. The 1989 Macon Chameroy, which is bursting with lemony, apple, and buttered popcorn-scented fruit, exhibits a clean, medium to full-bodied texture, and a crisp, long finish.
