Aromas of raspberries, cherries, sweet soil tones, spices and incense introduce the 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Village, a medium to full-bodied wine built around bright acids and ripe tannins.

Sourced from four or five different suppliers and vinified by Latour, the 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village offers up notes of cassis, raspberries, dried flowers, forest floor and grilled meats. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and succulent, with melting tannins and a plush core of fruit. It's a decidedly solid effort from Latour.
