The 2016 Marsannay Blanc was reduced to two barrels this year because of the frost. It has a simple, primal bouquet that needs to show a little more complexity. The palate is clean and fresh on the entry with light tropical tones (pineapple and guava) that lead to a brisk, slightly short finish. The palate offers more than the aromatics at the moment but it should drink well for three or four years after bottling.
