Bliss Block lies within the property's Quail Hill Vineyard and is the coolest two acres on the estate. Spicy acidity and dark earth support a full-bodied, oaky imprint of complexity and structure, dotted in savory cranberry and black tea.

Big, ripe and powerful, with rich plum, olallieberry and blueberry fruit that's bold, full-bodied and extracted. This is somewhat tamer from midpalate on, but ends with mouthcoating plum and berry jam flavors on the finish. Drink now through 2016. 152 cases made.

Shows the massively extracted raspberry, cherry, cola and anise flavors this block of the estate vineyard produces, with rich oak influences. No denying the opulence and immediately decadent appeal, or the silky, tapestry-like texture. Seems off a bit from the fabulous 2007, a little fatter, hotter and more obvious, but still a very flamboyant Pinot Noir. Drink now–2013.
