This 2020 Merlot Lot 148 is good and ripe and gives us a splay of red berries and toasted spice. Soft, round and not overly long, this presents a balanced and almost succulent view of Merlot. Good.

The 2010 Lot 148 Merlot displays a deep garnet-purple color and aromas of warm plums, mulberries and cloves with touches of tree bark and soy. Medium to full-bodied and with a solid foundation of medium-firm, chewy tannins and crisp acid, it fills the mouth with plum and spice flavors that linger long into the finish.
