Closed in a screwcap bottle, the 2016 Pinot Grigio Torre di Luna is a fundamentally informal and stripped-down value wine. This is one of those wines you can sip in the kitchen as you are using the same bottle to cook with. The bouquet shows dried-grass aromas with citrus and white peach. There is a spot of sweetness on the close.

The 2014 Pinot Grigio Torre di Luna is about as simple, fresh and easy-going as you should expect from a Northern Italian value white wine. True to the grape, the bouquet offers one dimensional tones of citrus, honeydew melon and cut grass. The mouthful is sharp, zesty and streamlined. There are no big surprises here.
