This estate produces two cuvees of Cotes du Rhone. For whatever reason, the garnet-colored 1995 Cotes du Rhone was dried out and hollow on the mid-palate. This estate's wine bottle sports a new, more elegant label since proprietor Claude Pouizin is sharing winemaking responsibilities with Monsieur Vacheron, who is a member of the well-known Loire Valley family in Sancerre.
