Kuleto’s 2004 at the age of four years is a little obvious, although it’s fruity enough. The oodles of ripe blackberries, currants, cassis and toasty oak are rich and satisfying. May be going through an awkward phase, but right now it’s a direct rather than a complex wine. ——S.H.(12/15/2008)—— 86
