The 2010 Chenin Blanc offers up an enticing nose of melon, mineral, and floral aromas. Just off-dry on the palate with the sweetness balanced by the wine’s lively acidity, this tasty effort is an ideal aperitif for drinking over the next 1-2 years. Kiona Vineyards and Winery has been producing wine since 1980 (and growing grapes for considerably longer than that). It has long been a puzzle because its grapes are in great demand but Kiona itself has had difficulty taking advantage of their superior farming.
