Made from 100% Merlot, the 2001 Merlot 25th Anniversary, while close to full maturity, is capable of lasting another 8-10 years. This excellent, dark ruby/purple-hued offering exhibits sweet black cherry, mocha, coffee and white chocolate characteristics along with medium body, outstanding purity and a polished, elegant style. Michael Keenan has done an incredible job over the last decade, and his 2001s admirably demonstrate the fabulous potential of his wines.
