The 2014 C?tes du Rh?ne les Portes du Castellas is more dark fruit-driven, with ample chocolate, spice and hints of earthy minerality giving way to a medium-bodied, rich, textured feel on the palate. A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre that was aged partially in barrel, it has plenty of texture, solid purity of fruit and a drink me now profile.
