Yes, that is really the name of the winery. The 2005 James Brazill Shiraz was sourced from a relatively young property adjacent to the renowned Armagh Vineyard in Clare Valley. Purple/black in color, it exhibits very ripe aromas including notes of forest floor, mushroom, blackberry, and chocolate. Made in a late-harvest style, this dense, layered wine conceals enough tannin to evolve for several years. It is the type of Shiraz that detractors of South Australia Shiraz will use as a role model. Fans of the style will love it. I like it dispassionately. Drink it from 2010 to 2018.Importer: Dan Philips, The Grateful Palate, Oxnard, CA; tel. (805) 278-9095
