Lots of toasted baked bread and yeast on the nose, with raspberry and black cherry from 67% Pinot Noir. Overt fruit on the palate, too. Drinks lively and crisp, but a bit rough, and the finish is a little sweet and leesy-bitter. Frankly, lacks the quality and charm of the nonvintage offerings from this winery.——S.H.(12/15/1999)—— 88
