The 2001 The Reliquary red (67% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 8% Mourvedre, and 5% Viognier) is a deep ruby/purple-colored blend offering complex, elegant notes of espresso, red and black fruits, earth, and spice box. The 2001 The Reliquary is a blend of 50% Roussanne, 25% Marsanne, and 25% Viognier. While chunkier as well as less refined than the Roussanne, it is still evolving and may be even better than my score suggests.
