Ferraton made a minuscule quantity of this wine, which statistically has 22% potential alcohol. He harvested the Marsanne grapes on October 10, 1985, put them on straw mats, and pressed them on January 15, 1986. It is a wonderfully exotic, opulent, decadently rich wine with oodles of fruit and a staggering perfume of apricots and peaches. It should keep for 50-60 years. Unfortunately, fewer than 100 bottles were made. Last tasted 6/86.
