Delicate mineral tones turn the wine over to more nuanced flavors and long-lasting intensity. Soft spice adds to the wine's broad and open texture. This is a production of 14,000 bottles.

With a storied tradition, this is one of the iconic whites of northern Italy. The Elena Walch 2019 Alto Adige Beyond the Clouds is a blend of Chardonnay and other complementary grapes. Past editions of this wine were much more floral and fragrant, but this 2019 edition takes on a drier and sharper personality. Aromas of white peach, minty apple and toasted almond are highlighted here. The oak adds to the spiciness of the bouquet and helps to flesh out the medium to almost full-weight mouthfeel. All this is capped off by zesty and spicy acidity. Some 14,000 bottles were released.
