Medium ruby, the 2020 Pinot Noir Radian Vineyard is alluringly savory, a core of cranberry and blackberry fruit accented by touches of tar, woodsmoke, flint and grilled meats. Medium-bodied, it offers highly intense fruits on a silky, seamlessly fresh frame and finishes long, detailed and spicy. Give it some time in the decanter to unwind. 490 cases produced.

Medium ruby, the 2019 Pinot Noir Radian Vineyard has alluring aromas of wild blackberries, Angostura bitters, forest floor and pipe tobacco. The medium-bodied palate is chalky and fresh with earthy fruits, flinty tones and a long finish. It will benefit from another couple of years in bottle.

Medium ruby, the 2016 Pinot Noir Radian Vineyard gives up fresh cranberries, black tea leaves, Bing cherries and wild blackberries on the nose plus nuances of woodsmoke, dusty earth, tree bark and dried citrus peel. Medium-bodied, it’s intense, layered and earthy, with a soft frame of grainy tannins and juicy freshness, finishing very long. 490 cases produced.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Radian Vineyard is also showing very well, wafting from the glass with aromas of wild cherry, raspberry, rhubarb and rose hip. On the palate, it's supple, medium-bodied and velvety, with more tension than the Duvarita Vineyard bottling and displaying a more saline, mineral quality on the mouthwatering finish. Of these three Pinot Noirs, the Radian Vineyard cuvée is the one that seems to be holding the most in reserve and it may well improve further with a year or two in the cellar.

Lighter in color, the spicy, complex, black cherry-scented 2013 Pinot Noir Radian Vineyard (9% whole clusters and aged 15 months in 20% new French oak) is medium-bodied, supple and polished on the palate, with plenty of tannin coming through on the finish. This cooler site has resulted in a wine that has plenty of structure, but also a textured, more rounded style that allows it to drink well now. Lovers of spicy, savory Pinot Noirs should check this out.
