The 2020 Chardonnay Duvarita Vineyard is scented of flint, lime leaves and jasmine, with a core of white peaches with an intriguing streak of gingery spice. The palate is light-bodied and gently rounded with bright, refreshing acidity, an alluring textural grip, understated, perfumed flavors and a bright, mineral-driven finish. Only 50 cases were made.

The 2019 Chardonnay Duvarita Vineyard is pure and energetic, with scents of lemon juice, oyster shell, toast and spiced apples. The palate is energetic and minerally, with a rounded texture and hints of savory character on the finish waiting to emerge after more time in bottle.

The 2016 Chardonnay Duvarita Vineyard begins with scents of cheese rind, crushed almonds and honeyed peaches with accents of pie spice, toast, citrus pith and flint. Medium-bodied and rounded, it features savory fruits, tangy acidity and a long, lifted finish. 200 cases produced.

Revealing aromas of honeyed pears, lemon oil and dried white flowers, the 2015 Chardonnay Duvarita Vineyard was my favorite of these Chardonnays from Dragonette for its balance and integration. It's medium-bodied, glossy and pure, with succulent acids and a delicately stony finish. Drink it over the next five years.
