Containing just the smallest dollop of Cabernet Sauvignon (0.1%) and aged for 8 months in French and American oak, the 2008 Shiraz has a very deep garnet color and pronounced notes of blackberry pie, espresso, tilled loam, licorice and black pepper. Full bodied and richly fruited in the mouth, it has the right amount of crisp acid to give lift and a medium level of velvety tannins, finishing long and fruity. Drink this one now through 2016. Dominique Portet does not have a USA importer but exports to Dubai, Hong Kong , China, Holland , Canada and Singapore .
