A blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Cinsault and 10% Syrah, the 2017 Cotes du Rhone Parallele 45 Rose comes across as significantly less tutti-frutti than some past vintages, instead offering hints of dried spices and crushed stone. It still shows redmberry flavors and some peachy notes, but this medium-bodied wine finishes with sufficient citrusy acids to be refreshing.

Possibly the best vintage of this wine I've tasted (which should be no surprise given that the quality at this estate has soared since winemaker Caroline Frey came on board), the 2015 Cotes du Rhone Parallele 45 Rose sports a light pink color to go with refreshing and crisp notes of red fruits, flowers and a hint of minerality. Pretty, medium-bodied, lively and downright gulpable, it's a rock-solid Rosé geared for summer-day drinking.

Always solid, the 2014 Cotes du Rhone Parallele 45 Rose is probably the best yet from this estate. Made from 50% Grenache, 40% Cinsault and 10% Syrah, it's made in a medium-bodied, crisp, easy and quaffable style and offers plenty of cherry, melon and light mineral aromas and flavors. It sells for a song, but is solid and well worth checking out.
