Last Tasted 6/92Madame Leroy purchased this wine from Monsieur Pernin-Rossin, who, at the time, was a loyal follower of the controversial Burgundy oenologist, Guy Accad. This deeply colored wine has not lost any of its purple hue since bottling. Roasted, pruny aromas are followed by a medium to full-bodied, rich, fresh wine with lively acidity, as well as plenty of glycerin and concentration. If you like your burgundies exuberant and grapy, this 1985 can be drunk now. However, given the wine's youthfulness, it could benefit from another 5-10 years of cellaring.
