The Syrah-based (92%, with 8% Grenache) 2016 Ventoux Cuvee Bramefan spent 10 months in barriques, but the oak influence is subdued. Hints of vanilla and cedar accent blackberries and blueberries on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is ripe and silky in texture, leading into a long, softly tannic finish.

A blend of Syrah and Grenache that saw 20% new French oak, the 2011 Ventoux Bramefan offers a slightly modern profile with creamy raspberry, red currants and licorice flowing to a medium-bodied, textured and elegant feel on the palate.
