Deep concentrated color. Earthy, gamy, mixed berry, black olive aromas prevail with a lifted leafy note. Full-bodied and solid, slightly chunky texture but moderately high flavor intensity with more dominant raspberry, blackberry notes. At first glance, this medium-bodied wine seems overly astringent, with crisp acids accentuating the firm tannins. But give it some time in the glass, and the black cherry-plum-cassis fruit starts to move to the fore.
