The 2017 Hautes C?tes de Nuits Blanc Cuvée Marine is very pretty, offering up a pretty bouquet of honeyed apple, pear and praline. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, saline and succulent, with mouthwatering acids but with none of the angularity this appellation can display.

Aromas of crisp green orchard fruit, oyster shell and fresh pastry introduce the 2016 Hautes C?tes de Nuits Blanc Cuvée Marine, a medium-bodied, chiseled and tangy wine with less flesh on its bones than the 2017 rendition.

The 2015 Hautes C?tes de Nuits Cuvée Marine Blanc, named after Anne's daughter, comes from one hectare of vines in the village of Concoeur. It has a crisp, green apple and grass clipping-scented bouquet that unfurls nicely in the glass. The palate has a touch of brioche and white fruit on the entry, slightly lower acidity than the 2014 last year, but it grants the taster with satisfying length.

The 2014 Hautes Cote de Nuits Blanc Cuvée Marine Blanc has a light peach skin bouquet that is nicely defined, a touch of pear developing with aeration. The palate has a twist of sour lemon on the entry, that peachiness coming through towards the poised, tensile finish. This is a perfectly respectable Hautes C?te de Nuits Blanc.
