The fresh, floral and elegant 2021 Viura comes mostly from one plot in Laguardia and some individual vines in other vineyards. It's mostly Viura and has moderate ripeness and alcohol (12.5%) and very good freshness and acidity, with primary and varietal aromas of white flowers and fruit, waxy apples and a balsamic touch. It's fresh and vibrant, very tasty. 6,000 bottles were filled in March 2022.

Diez-Caballero’s 2009 Barrel-Fermented Viura was sourced from 40-year-old vines and spent 6 months in French oak on the lees with periodic batonnage. It possesses excellent clarity and focus in its mineral and melon-accented fruit. Smooth-textured from the oak aging, it is nicely balanced and savory with the oak well-integrated.
